Welcome to Emoji Golf Scorecard! Here's how to get started:

Use the search feature to find golf courses near you or browse nearby courses using your location.

👥 Add Players

Select the number of players (1-6) and customize player names for your round.

🏁 Choose Tees

Select your preferred tee type (Blue, White, Red, etc.) based on your skill level.

Track scores with emojis or numbers at your favorite courses

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add a score for a hole?

Simply tap on any score cell in the scorecard grid. A score picker will appear with emoji options for different scores relative to par.

Can I change tee types during a round?

Yes! Tap on the tee type dropdown in the player header to change tee types for individual players.

How do I view my scorecard history?

Completed rounds are automatically saved and can be viewed in the History tab. Tap on any past round to see the detailed scorecard.

Can I use the app without location services?

Yes! You can search for courses manually using the search feature, even without location access.

What if I can't find my course?

We don't have every course yet, but we're happy to add nearly any course that is requested! Use the "Request Course" feature in the app's search view, or submit a request on our website. We'll add it to our database as soon as possible.

Is my data stored locally or in the cloud?

Your scorecards are stored locally on your device and can optionally sync with iCloud if you have it enabled.

🔧 Troubleshooting

Common Issues & Solutions

App freezes when adding scores: This has been fixed in recent updates. If you're still experiencing issues, try restarting the app.
Can't find a specific course: Use the "Request Course" feature and we'll add it to our database.
Location not working: Check your device's location settings and ensure the app has permission to access location.
Scorecard not saving: Make sure you tap "Finish" at the end of your round to save it to history.
Emoji display issues: Try toggling between emoji and number display using the button in the top right.
